Camping Texel: Day 1 & 2
The bulk of visitors to Texel begin their vacations in Den Helder. Ten minutes after setting up camp at a brand new site, they ride their bikes to the Ecomare Nature Museum and Seal Sanctuary.Wadden Sea, Texel, and the North Sea are all listed here as World Heritage sites.Everyone, from kids to grandparents, will have a blast. They can get near to many marine mammals, avian species, and fish.There are a number of displays, including ones devoted to whales, mythology, and the Wadden Sea.True whale skeletons are also available.Incredible in size and grandeur.
They take a sunset stroll down the beach each night.What a stunning setting this is. They rode their bikes for around three km and are now back at Camping Woud, eager for a restful night’s sleep.
Their third morning on the road finds them in Camping Woud.They’ve risen early since their day will be filled with physical activity and exciting exploration.

Camping Texel: Day 4 & 5
Their next stop is in the small town of De Koog, located further north.The town is one of the oldest on Texel and well worth exploring.The beautiful beach is a major draw for visitors.In the height of summer, the beach is delightfully crowded with people engaging in a variety of water activities and taking advantage of the many beach pavilions.Next, they’ll head to the De Slufter nature reserve.They’ve opted to join one of the guided tours to learn more about the unique features of this preserve.This does not fall short of expectations; it is educational, unique, and exciting.This place is very stunning.Keep in mind that the majority of tours depart in the morning, so plan accordingly.Although they could stroll on the mudflats here later in the week, they chose to do so elsewhere.
