Step-by-Step Adventure
Upon your arrival at their magnificent venue, their welcoming staff will greet you, scan your tickets, and usher you into your gaming session. Subsequently, you’ll be escorted to their gameplay briefing area, marking the commencement of your Monopoly Lifesized adventure! As you proceed, you’ll discover that this immersive experience unfolds in three thrilling steps, each offering its own unique challenges and excitement.
Step One
To kick things off, your first order of business is to meet Mr. Monopoly in person! He’ll extend a warm welcome to your gaming session, introducing you to both your teammates and rival teams. With teams limited to no more than 6 players and 4 teams per board, the stage is set for an engaging competition. Additionally, Mr. Monopoly will acquaint you with your playing token, who will serve as your guide throughout the experience. Following a brief orientation and rule explanation, you’ll ascend to your designated playing area upstairs, ready to kickstart the game!
Step Two
As the countdown ticks down to the beginning, take a moment to absorb the surroundings as you step onto the game board for the first time. Once the countdown concludes, the game officially commences! If it’s your turn, roll the dice and move accordingly. Should you land on an unowned property, the opportunity to purchase it arises. However, in this real-life rendition, acquiring property isn’t as straightforward as handing over money – there are challenges to conquer! A select few of your team members will enter the property through a door off the board to complete a brief challenge while the rest of the team observes. Success in the challenge results in the acquisition of the property and retention of the property card; failure leads to the property being auctioned off to rival teams.
During moments when it’s not your turn to roll the dice, you’ll draw a Chance Card, presenting strategic options. You might opt for a Community Chest Card, manage finances, or attempt to build a house on a property you own – though easier said than done. The decision lies in your hands. Utilize your properties and cards strategically to maximize profits.
Certain properties boast special abilities crucial to your journey of becoming the ultimate capitalist. Utility squares grant control over the city’s energy, water, or internet supply, while Train Stations enable you to charge rivals for passage around the board, granting you free travel. However, be vigilant of Jail – escaping becomes imperative to avoid bail fees.
Step Three
After eighty intense, thrilling, and occasionally frustrating minutes, filled with more twists and turns than the stock market, the ultimate champion will emerge, ready to bask in their well-deserved glory! Applauded by their competitors, they can then head back to the restaurant for some much-needed refreshments, celebrating their victory and relishing in the satisfaction of a game well-played.
